Once a bond is posted, it is sent to the jail for processing and your loved one will be released. Then we just need to visit with them briefly to go over the conditions of bond.

A co-signer, also called an indemnitor, is the person who agrees to be responsible for the amount of the bond if the defendant does not follow court requirements. We’ll explain those responsibilities clearly before you sign anything.

We accept cash and most major credit and debit cards. We don’t accept payment apps like Cash App, and we generally don’t accept personal checks or collateral. If you’re unsure about a payment method, just give us a call—we’re happy to help.

Not always. You have the right to hire an attorney. If you cannot afford one, the court may appoint one if you qualify.

In most cases, you’ll need a valid photo ID and a form of payment if you’re posting a bond. Requirements can vary by jail, so if you’re unsure, give us a call and we’ll let you know exactly what you’ll need.

Hood County Impound is located in the same lobby as the jail, and is open Monday thru Friday from 9 am - 4:30 pm. If you are retrieving your vehicle, we ask that you first come speak with us after posting bond.
